About
getagentictools is the #1 directory for skills, plugins, MCP servers, and loops in agentic coding — 34,910 tools and counting.
Most directories are firehoses: they scrape every repo on GitHub and dump it on a page. We do the opposite. Every entry here earns its place, every metric is pulled live from the source, and nothing is faked or padded.
What makes it different
- Real, sourced metrics. Stars and downloads come straight from GitHub and package registries — never estimated, never rounded up.
- Curated, not dumped. We filter forks, SDKs, and abandonware so you see tools worth using.
- Freshness in the open. Every card shows when a project was last updated, so you can spot stale work at a glance.
- Loops. Repeatable agent workflows you won't find on other directories.
Methodology
Every listing is generated from public, verifiable sources — and only pages that clear a quality bar appear in search engines.
- Data sources. Skills come from the skills.sh registry and GitHub (SKILL.md packages); MCP servers from the official MCP registry and community registries; plugins from published
.claude-pluginmarketplaces on GitHub; loops from curated loop libraries. Metrics (stars, installs, licenses, last-update dates) are fetched from the GitHub API and package registries. - Inclusion & search visibility. Everything we track is browsable on-site, but only entries with demonstrated adoption — official or verified status, thousands of installs, or hundreds of GitHub stars — are surfaced to search engines. The long tail stays browsable and searchable here until it earns its place.
- Refresh cadence. The catalog is re-harvested weekly; metrics carry a visible last-updated date. Dead or stale projects are flagged, not hidden.
- No pay-to-list. Rankings are metric-driven. Sponsor placements, when present, are clearly labeled and never affect rankings.
