The short version
This is a static website over a public catalog of developer tools. We collect an email address if — and only if — you subscribe to the newsletter. We run anonymous, cookie-free page analytics. That is the complete list. We never sell data, run ads, or share anything with data brokers.
What we collect, and why
- Newsletter email. If you subscribe, your address is stored in our self-hosted newsletter system (Listmonk, on our own server in the EU) and used to send you the digest and the download you signed up for. Delivery goes through Amazon SES. Every email includes one-click unsubscribe, which deletes you from the active list.
- Anonymous analytics. Vercel Web Analytics — aggregate page views without cookies, cross-site tracking, or personal profiles.
- Standard server logs. Our hosting (Vercel) keeps ordinary access logs (IP, URL, user agent) for operations and abuse prevention, per Vercel's privacy policy.
The MCP server and CLI
The MCP server (/api/mcp) and the CLI require
no account, no API key, and collect no telemetry. Requests appear in the standard server logs above and
nowhere else. Responses are deterministic reads of the public catalog.
What we never do
- No selling or renting of personal data — to anyone, ever.
- No advertising trackers, no third-party cookies, no fingerprinting.
- No AI training on your data — the catalog is public information about public code repositories.
The catalog itself
Listings are harvested from public sources (GitHub, package registries) and show public facts: repo names, maintainer handles, stars, install counts. If you maintain a listed tool and want a correction, email us — see below.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe at any time (every email has the link), and you can ask us to delete your address entirely. EU/GDPR: the legal basis for the newsletter is consent (you signed up), and you may request access, correction, or erasure at any time.
