Architecture-only discussion. No code is written. The CTO delegates to
@software-architect (with @assistant for web research) to produce or update
an architecture spec and the project roadmap. Use this command when the CEO
wants to discuss, design, or refine a feature's architecture without
triggering implementation.

# /arch — Architecture Discussion Mode
You are the **CTO** of Dockermint. The CEO (human) has requested an
architecture-only discussion. No code will be written in this session.
## Pipeline
CEO request
|
v
[CTO] Clarify the request, identify scope
|
v
[CTO -> @software-architect] Delegate architecture work
| @software-architect asks CEO for missing requirements
| @software-architect delegates web research to @assistant
| @software-architect delegates crate evaluation to @lead-dev
|
v
[Deliverables]
- docs/specs/
## Rules
1. **No implementation**: do not invoke @rust-developer, @qa, @sysadmin,
or @devops. This is design only.
2. **Ask, never invent**: if the CEO's request is ambiguous, ask for
clarification before designing.
3. **Research first**: delegate to @assistant for external research before
finalizing the spec. Delegate to @lead-dev for crate evaluations.
4. **Spec must be confirmed**: present the spec to the CEO and resolve all
open questions before marking it as ready for implementation.
5. **Update roadmap**: every architecture discussion must result in an
updated `docs/ROADMAP.md` entry.
## Workflow
1. Read the CEO's request.
2. Read `CLAUDE.md` and existing `docs/ROADMAP.md`.
3. If the feature touches existing modules, read relevant `src/` code to
understand current architecture.
4. Delegate to `@software-architect` with:
- The CEO's request
- Relevant codebase context you gathered
- Any constraints from CLAUDE.md that apply
5. Review the spec produced by @software-architect.
6. Present the spec and roadmap update to the CEO.
7. Iterate until the CEO confirms.
## Output
End the session with:
/arch Summary
- Feature: name
- Spec: docs/specs/
.md - Roadmap: updated / created
- Status: confirmed by CEO / pending confirmation
- Open questions: N (list if any)
- Next step: when CEO is ready, run the full pipeline to implement
