Argon is a version control system for MongoDB built for AI agents, giving every agent its own branch of a database so changes can be reviewed, merged, or discarded without touching production data. It supports instant branching without copying data, time-travel queries, and write-capture, positioning itself as MongoDB's equivalent to Neon for Postgres or PlanetScale for MySQL. Argon is open source and self-hosted.
