Perplexity Advanced MCP provides a flexible interface for AI assistants to interact with both Perplexity and OpenRouter APIs, supporting simple queries and complex file attachments. Built by YeonGyu Kim, it offers a command-line interface that accepts API keys for either service through a simple configuration schema, making it easy to switch between providers. The implementation is containerized with Docker for easy deployment and uses the uv package manager for dependency management. It's particularly valuable for workflows requiring advanced search capabilities or when working with document-based queries that need file context.
