Rekordbox

MCP server implementation by Dave Henke that provides AI assistants with direct access to rekordbox DJ software databases through real-time SQLite database connections using pyrekordbox for encrypted database decryption. The implementation offers comprehensive music library management including track searching with BPM/key/genre filters, playlist operations (create, modify, delete), DJ history session analysis, and library statistics, with automatic database backup creation before any write operations to prevent data corruption. Built with FastMCP and featuring both read-only tools for music discovery and mutation tools for playlist management, it serves DJs who want conversational access to their rekordbox libraries for set preparation, music organization, and performance analysis without leaving their AI workflow.
