MLB Stats API

This MLB API MCP Server provides comprehensive access to Major League Baseball statistics and data through a FastMCP-based interface that bridges AI applications with MLB data sources. Built by James Guillochon, it exposes over 20 specialized tools for retrieving current standings, game schedules, player statistics including sabermetrics like WAR and wOBA, team rosters, live game data with boxscores and play-by-play, game highlights, and Statcast data for advanced baseball analytics. The server integrates both the official MLB Stats API and pybaseball for Statcast data, supports flexible team/player identification by name or ID, includes intelligent result size management to prevent overwhelming responses, and offers both HTTP and stdio transports with Docker deployment options, making it valuable for sports analytics, fantasy baseball applications, and AI-driven baseball research workflows.
