NetBrain MCP is a network device management server that connects AI assistants to network infrastructure through SSH, Telnet, and SNMP protocols. Built by Koreyoshi using FastAPI and the FastMCP framework, it provides over 30 tools for network scanning, device discovery, topology mapping with CDP/LLDP, configuration management, and real-time monitoring. The implementation features a template-based command system for vendor-specific operations across Cisco, Huawei, and H3C equipment, along with credential management and device connection handling. It includes a web-based interface with XTerm.js terminal emulation and D3.js topology visualization, making it valuable for network automation, infrastructure monitoring, and AI-assisted network troubleshooting workflows.
