Web search and URL fetching MCP server with configurable backends for use with third-party Claude-compatible models.
Provides web search and page fetching capabilities as a fallback for Claude Code sessions using third-party Anthropic-compatible models that lack native WebSearch and WebFetch tools. Supports multiple configurable search backends including DuckDuckGo, Bing, SearXNG, and Mojeek, with security boundaries blocking requests to localhost and private networks. Includes a research_brief tool that combines search with limited content fetching to reduce context overhead.
