Systems-MCP is a server implementation that enables AI assistants to interact with the systems modeling library created by Will Larson. It provides two key tools: one for running systems models based on specifications and another for loading documentation to help generate better models. Built with Python 3.13 and the FastMCP framework, it's designed to work locally with Claude Desktop, allowing users to model complex systems, visualize their behavior over time, and generate specifications for new models without requiring deep knowledge of the underlying library. The implementation is particularly valuable for those interested in systems thinking who want to quickly prototype and analyze system dynamics without leaving their AI assistant conversation.
