Works in tandem with a Figma desktop plugin (Framelink Exporter) that exports designs as a ZIP containing JSON tree data, PNG screenshots, SVG icons, and image-fill bytes. The MCP server then exposes three tools — get_figma_data_from_json, get_node_image, and get_node_svg — enabling AI coding agents to generate pixel-accurate UI code with real asset references. No network calls to Figma APIs required.
