Overleaf
Integrates with Overleaf LaTeX projects through Git access to read, analyze, and navigate academic papers and documents with file
This MCP server provides seamless integration with Overleaf LaTeX projects through Git access, enabling AI assistants to read, analyze, and navigate academic papers and documents stored in Overleaf. Built using Node.js with the Model Context Protocol SDK, it offers project file listing with extension filtering, complete file content retrieval, LaTeX document structure parsing that extracts sections/subsections/chapters with content previews, and multi-project support through JSON configuration files. The implementation features automatic Git repository cloning and syncing, intelligent LaTeX section parsing with regex-based extraction, project status summaries showing document structure and file counts, and secure credential management through project-specific Git tokens, making it valuable for academic writing workflows, research paper analysis, collaborative LaTeX document review, and building AI assistants that need programmatic access to Overleaf projects without manual editor navigation.
