This MCP server provides a simple PRD (Product Requirements Document) generation tool that reads README files and transforms them into basic PRD templates. Built by Joe Njenga using Node.js with the Model Context Protocol SDK, it offers a single tool that takes a README file path as input and generates a structured PRD containing project overview, description (extracted from the first 5 lines of the README), predefined key features, technical requirements, and timestamp. The implementation uses a hardcoded template approach rather than intelligent content analysis, making it useful for quickly bootstrapping PRD documents from existing README files or as a starting point for more sophisticated documentation workflows.
