Traditional Chinese Text Linting
Enforces Taiwan Ministry of Education standards for Traditional Chinese text, catching Mainland Chinese regional drift in vocabula
A linguistic linter for Traditional Chinese (zh-TW) that enforces Taiwan Ministry of Education standards on vocabulary, punctuation, and character shapes. It catches Mainland Chinese (zh-CN) regional drift before it reaches the user, addressing the problem of AI language models favoring Simplified Chinese terminology due to training data imbalances. Over 1000 vocabulary rules and 15 casing rules are compiled into the binary, covering cross-strait vocabulary normalization, full-width punctuation enforcement, CJK-Latin spacing, and non-standard character variant correction. Three configurable profiles (default, strict_moe, ui_strings) control which rules apply.
