Fortress is a stealth Chromium browser engine that corrects browser fingerprinting at the C++ engine level instead of patching it with JavaScript, letting automated traffic bypass detectors like Cloudflare Turnstile and bot.sannysoft.com. It exposes a Chrome DevTools Protocol endpoint and works as a drop-in replacement for Playwright, Puppeteer, and browser-use. The accompanying tool set covers fetching protected pages, extracting content, crawling sites, running browser tasks, and taking screenshots.
