ShellKeeper

An MCP server that provides persistent terminal sessions with SSH support through the node-pty library. The implementation maintains stateful shell connections that persist across multiple command executions, enabling complex workflows like SSH connections, multi-step operations, and interactive terminal applications that require session continuity. Unlike stateless command execution tools, this server preserves the terminal state including working directory, environment variables, and active connections, making it useful for remote server administration, development workflows requiring persistent SSH sessions, and scenarios where maintaining terminal context across multiple operations is essential. Includes bidirectional file transfer capabilities supporting uploads up to 10MB through existing SSH sessions.
